Managed eight key accounts and delivered consistent growth on a £5M sales budget.
Delivered on all LHE plans to drive business.

Key Achievements in this role

As a key account manager for Pfizer's endocrine portfolio I can demonstrate a long term track record in the highly competitive GH market.

Having delivered £5 million GH sales per annum and maintained one of the highest territory sales and market shares in the UK of 50% I sustained growth and increased market share by developing innovative projects and by close working with key opinion leaders.

In summary, the following were key successes:

I identified an opportunity at Walton, Liverpool to secure £100k funding for a TBI research project that resulted in 15 new patients in its first year. This required persistence, persuasion and influencing skills at all levels.
I am a committed team player as demonstrated by my role as trainer and mentor for new team members. Additionally, my role as product champion to help marketing department develop the correct marketing material for the team further demonstrated this attribute.
I have worked with key opinion leaders to deliver key speaker meetings throughout the UK.
I set up and ran a number of national nurse meetings for both Pfizer's annual meeting and 'new nurse' programme.
I achieved funding status for Somavert in two key accounts in Liverpool by liaising with PCT's and hospital clinicians using formulary funding packs.

2000 - 2003

Senior Endocrine Care Representative covering the North West and North Wales.
Launched new product Somavert - Growth Hormone receptor antagonist for Acromegaly and embarked on formulary inclusions with PCT's.
Successfully launched new indication for Genotropin small for gestational age this was 'key' for market expansion and growth.

Pharmacia & Upjohn becoming Pharmacia through acquisition

1995 - 2000

Senior Hospital Representative covering Yorkshire, the North East and Trent.
Products included Endocrine, Genotropin and Caverject Erectile dysfunction.
Launched new Miniquick device for G.H. therapy and identified centres to set up clinics for E.D. to drive growth of Caverject.

Kabi Pharmacia becoming Pharmacia and Upjohn through acquisition

1986 - 1995

Senior Hospital Representative covering Yorkshire, the North East and Trent.
Products included Endocrine and HIV product portfolio.
Successful launch of Mycobutin into the HIV/AIDS market and delivery of a major wholesale switch of Genotropin patients from IU to MG pens and launch the new adult indication for Genotropin.
